Running 1.9.8 and Joomla 1.7.3

Every now and again - with no changes in teh back end when you click a category on our shop menu the page comes back completely empty. It is strange as there is no pattern or reason to it.

Any Ideas?

1.9.8 is obsolete

we are at 2.0.1 now

Gee Thanks! Are you suggesting that this is a bug and if I upgraded then I wouldn't suffer the problem?
