Ok, I am using Joomla 1.7 and I have downloaded VM2.0. I have not started implementing it yet because there are a couple of show stoppers that I need to make sure don't exist. The first...and most important is the ability to perform a bulk upload via CSV.

I have a product feed file in CSV format. Can I or can I not upload this file to VM without having to buy a third party extension? I have 512 product so manual upload will not be an option.

512 products is not many...  A cheap tool like CSV Virtuemart for J1.7/VM2 (now available in beta) saves many hours of work. Or you could maybe write your own tool or use phpMyAdmin.

CSVImproved doesn't import VAT included price does it?

CSVI does import vat included prices as long as you specify the vat rate also in your import file. This is needed because CSVI needs to store the price ex tax for VirtueMart.
