Hi,

I have beginner question I could not find in the forum:
Is it possible to link a shopper automatically to a shopper group during the sign-up process? I could not find how, so far.
For example, a shopper from a specific country (i.e. UK) should be automatically link to the shopper group "UK".

Or do I have to link a shopper group always manually to a shopper?

no, I did not solve my problem with shopper groups. I used the discount to calculate my shipping costs per product and per country.

You have to setup a tax rate. You can use this tax rate for additional cost for the whole order. And you can specify product categories for this tax rate as well as countries - I think. It is already some time ago, I did this setup.

I need to be able to specify a flat amount for each product & quantity.

yes, you can setup this as a "tax rate".
