Title: How do you set "List Prices" with Virtuemart 2?
Post by: dmuntean on January 08, 2012, 23:48:28 PM
Hi,

I was wondering how do you set prices for single product when a customer orders certain quantities. This was a feature in Virtuemart 1.X through a menu called "List Prices".

I am trying to achieve the following:

T-Shirts
1 -10   $10.00ea
11-20  $9.00  ea

So am I to understand that this feature has been moved out of the standard VM toolkit and replaced with a buggy paid solution? This is terrible.
There are so many features missing from VM2 that were present in VM1. Will there ever be a comprehensive doc created that will show side-by-side just what we're losing by upgrading? It seems this project is moving away from it's userbase.

It is now http://extensions.virtuemart.net/extensions-virtuemart-2/quantity-related-price-calculation-detail
This is a lot more powerful than the previous simple version in VM1.1
Brief instructions for this are on http://extensions.virtuemart.net/all-tutorials/10-calculation-rules/11-quantity-plugin

Interestingly now VM2 is better known the userbase is rapidly increasing. There is not much point in comparisons as VM2 is having new features added every month and VM1.1 is past end of life.
