Title: VirtueMart
Post by: larrybertleman on January 05, 2012, 17:13:59 PM
Im considering installing VirtueMart on a website which has a mixture of articles, review posts and an online shop. I have been looking for examples of existing sites but most of the sites I have found are just online shops, does anyone have suggestions of sites which offer more than just a shop? I'd like to get a feel for how well it would integrate into my site.

Currently using Joomshopping, and although it integrates really well its not as slick as I would like.

Cheers

Most VM sites would have other (non-VM) pages, such as customer service contact forms etc, others would include news pages, maybe a forum etc. Joomla is a content management system which can be used in so many different ways, and with such a big range of additional modules and components being available you can make it do almost anything you want.

There are a lot of VirtueMart store sites out there - http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=84190.msg285025#msg285025

Forum members have posted many links to Joomla/VM sites in  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?board=11.0, eg http://www.vision-call.co.uk/ and http://lowcarbcentral.com.au/  have a lot of content as well as the store
