Looks good, the product range suits the template.

You may find that SSL works with SEF off, but not with it on...

What you mean ?
I can't have the SEF on at all to use the SSL?
Friendly urls are the most important thing for the SEO.
I'm getting 200 visits everyday now.
When I switch the SEF of I'll loose most of them.
Is there any way to have that worked?

Thanks

Janek

Depends on your host. You may need a wildcard SSL certificate to work with SEF.

And IMHO, SEF urls are cosmetic rather than really useful. I have no problems with product sales and do not use SEF. But that is my preference based on poor experiences of url rewriting, and discussions in Googles' Webmaster Central Blog.

Do you think I can have the shop non SEF and the rest of the pages SEF urls and the SSL will work properly?
Thanks

You would have to test like that. Not something I have ever done.

Hey Jobo,

Nicely done! Love the fonts used and the scrolling ajax cart.

One thing I noticed was that your additional images were almost the same size as your main image in the product detail page.
I have found that this can get a bit messy when you have 3-5 images for that particular product and significantly increase the height of the page even though there's plenty of white space.

If you're on VM1.x, you can adjust the thumbnail size when you upload the product.
Hope that helps!

Do the https trick with akeeba admin tools pro! admin tools does everything in the .htaccess file, works better then Joomla. Also SHARED SSL.
