i have products with size custofield like 44 cm or 17 pouces ('inch)...
in the email of the ordered confirmation (detail) we can see this customfield without error
but when wo would see the detail of the order in frontend (and backend too) we have this error:

perhaps it s a problem of mixing char and integer or something like that (but in email --> no error)

Dont know if this would help, but it happened to me, the reason was the custom field was either deleted or altered, also make sure the cache on your front end is clean.
