What happened with PayPal API payment? Who still use email PayPal ......
I like to ask if there will be a API version of PayPal plugin?
Thanks,
I agree, someone needs to accelerate payment gateway management modules/plugins and the like. Supported gateways with API. I use more than one system, 3 actually, PayPal, Google Checkout, and Amazon Simple Pay, for myself. But my customers don't(in thier VM2's), they need to have the ability to use other systems.. and allow for better configuration. I know you guys are extremely busy, and We Thank You for that. But this may want to be a priority, the system is great. There are alot of pre-Joomla 2.5 payment addons at Joomla Extensions. but I would prefer it be supported by virtuemart as product enhancements to a nice product. Thanks!
We even doesn't deserve a clear ansver....

Thanks for the link, but this is US PRO version, and I am from Europe and we can't use PRO.
Jenkilhill's link is not more working... It leads to download broken link.
Please share the plugin soon. VM2.0 Paypal Pro plugin is much needed.
Thanks,
Venki
Just a small word of caution here re the Bigfoot Extensions PayPal Pro plugin. I purchased this almost a week ago and despite several calls, emails and contacts I am no closer to getting a download code.
I have heard good reports on the plugin but it looks like the developer is temporarily AWOL, so if you need something urgently this may not be the solution for you.
If anyone else has another PayPal Pro plugin for VirtueMart 2.0+ then please IM me, I'd love to hear from you.
rethinkmarketing did you ever get the plugin? I need this but I don't want to pay for it if they are not going to send me the plugin and ignore me.
Bigfoot Extensions PayPal Pro, I was surfing this site and noticed the extension link is broken coming from Joomla extensions it points here:
http://bigfootextensions.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4&Itemid=8
The link for VM2 points here (dead page):
http://bigfootextensions.com/component/content/4/101-paypal-pro-20-for-virtuemart-20.html
There are two "Direct URL links" that appear to link to the "item" here:
http://bigfootextensions.com/joomla-extensions-virtuemart-paypal/virtuemart-paypal-pro-us-joomla-j15j16.html
http://bigfootextensions.com/component/content/article/101-paypal-pro-20-for-virtuemart-20.html
This may be why people are having problems, I'm not sure if the developer even realizes it, I am not related to this site, just merely noticed the issues as I have also researched this product.
The direct link for the download page is Here:

You guys might also use the PayPal API already included in VM2. You just have to configure it in VM2 configuration.
Note that you need to configure your PayPal merchant account on the PayPal website, too. See here:
https://cms.paypal.com/cms_content/CA/en_US/files/developer/PP_Sandbox_UserGuide.pdf (https://cms.paypal.com/cms_content/CA/en_US/files/developer/PP_Sandbox_UserGuide.pdf)
Still have not received Bigfoot's extension
I lodged a complaint in Paypal and got no response. I hate doing this but I thought t may spur the developer into action.
I have now escalated this and am still hoping the developer will see I really want his plug in and send me the download codes.
Not very hopeful about this which is a real pity because it looked like the ideal offering.
If anyone else has the same issue I happy to kick in at least the same value as the plug in towards the development of an PayPal Pro plug in that we could share back with the community

There is no need to do that. You obviously missed that PayPal is already integrated in VM2. See here:
http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=101478.0 (http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=101478.0)
...and this is not new - it's been there for many months ;)
Can you let me know if I am missing something, but this service appears to work only with standard PayPal services, not for the PayPal Pro service for CC authentication and payment.
PayPal services differ quite a bit in different countries. What they call "PayPal Pro" is as far as I know only available in the U.S. and in the U.K. There will certainly be more payment plugins for VM2 in the future, but at present the PayPal solution which is implemented in VM2 is the one they describe in this example:
https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_html_cart_upload (https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_html_cart_upload)

As moderator you should better read the posts. Here is talking about "API" version, so please, point me to the "API" version of Paypal which is somewhere for many months.
