I'm running the latest version i, and the product quantity does not update in the shopping cart. Here are the steps I performed: In the shopping cart I change the quantity from 1 to 2 and press the 'Update Quantity in Cart' button, and instead of the quantity being updated to 2, I get the following error message: "Product quantity not successfully updated".

FYI, you need to use Firefox since the Category module doesn't work properly in IE. That's another problem I reported that maybe you could help me with.

Same bug here on my VM2.0.0-RC-2i in combination with J1.7.1
I'm not sure if this could be causing the problem with the quantity not updating, but I noticed in the shopping cart that the fields are shifted to the left by one column. The SKU is displaying in the Name column (with the Name value), the Price is displaying in the SKU column, the Quantity is displaying in the Price column, etc, etc.
If you can't reproduce this, just go to my test site and add the product to the cart: http://www.designerfurniturecenter.com/component/virtuemart/living-room/sofas/sofa-detail
FYI, you need to use Firefox since the Category module doesn't work properly in IE. That's another problem I reported that maybe you could help me with.

I don't understand what you are saying? You can't add the one product into the shopping cart using Firefox and with the language set to English? I know it doesn't add products to the shopping cart in a non-English language or using IE 8, I reported these 2 issues in other posts, but I have not had any problems adding products into the shopping cart in English and using Firefox. I just double-checked this on multiple computers and it works fine. The problem is inside the shopping cart... changing the quantity and how the columns have the wrong info displayed. Are you doing something different than I am doing?

I discovered the quantity in the cart does not update when there are Custom Fields added to the product. If there are no Custom Fields, then the quantity does update in the cart properly.
I updated to version J and it's working correctly now. Thanks to the VM team!
