Title: File (e-book) selling with VM2, is it posible now?

Hello,

I'm looking for opportunities in the VM, to sell e-book (files). In VM 1.1 was the opportunity to sell the files. how to sell the files in VM2.
Please advice how to solve the problem

I use Joomla 1.7 and VM 2RCe

One workaround that comes to my mind is.

1. Create a file entry as a product in virtuemart
2. Create a user group in joomla to only have access to the book downloadable page
3. Create a file downloadable page that is allowed only to the corresponding user group created in step 2
4. When a user buys the file as a product from virtuemart, enroll that user to the user group created in step 2. [This is one manual step that you can perform on an order payment is confirmed to you.]
