How do I upgrade from 2.0-RC to the apparently newer 1.9.8RC2?

Should I use RC2c or RC2d?

Based on the post here (http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=85643.0), I tried to use the akeeba system but it said I had the latest release.

Then I tried to install the com_virtuemart.1.9.8c.zip. It said it installed fine, but *all* of my config was gone.

You did it right.

the installer packages are also working for updating. But we had big problems with the config working in j1.7.

i installed joomla 1.7 and virtuemart RC to 1.9.8RC2d and shows this kind of messages
COM_VIRTUEMART_FEATURED_PRODUCT
instead of right ones?

what can i do?
i miss something ?

by default installation

English.
