...based on 2.0Beta2
looks more like "based on VM2RC2" for me ;)
Sorry - you're right :-)
Please provide me the tutorial for the language installer, would be nice to add that to the instructions for translators.
Here you are: http://docs.joomla.org/Creating_language_packs_for_extensions_in_Joomla_1.6
Just another hint in case you overlooked one or the other change concering building installers for J1.6+. If you type phrases like "installer adapter", "extension installer" or "install extensions manifest" into the search field on docs.joomla.org, you will see descriptions of API changes, new hooks, etc.
Hi there
Does anyone have an update for this 8)
Mic
Where can we put additions to the DK language files?
Here is one:
en-GB.com_virtuemart.ini:
COM_VIRTUEMART_USER_FORM_EDIT_BILLTO_EXPLAIN="Only in case shipment address is different from billing address,<br />click »%s« button below"
->
da-DK.com_virtuemart.ini:
COM_VIRTUEMART_USER_FORM_EDIT_BILLTO_EXPLAIN="Hvis forsendelsesadressen er forskellig fra faktureringsadressen,<br />så klik på »%s«-knappen nedenfor"
/Hz
The above DK language files by Ronny Buelund are five months old already. Meanwhile the developers have changed a lot, so using the old files would always show some gaps in the translation. How about if you try to complete/update the most important one (I suppose the Frontend da-DK.com_virtuemart.ini) by comparing it to the up to date en-GB language file(s), which you will find if you follow this link:
http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=89336.0 (http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=89336.0) and then post it back here? ;)
Seems like the attached Danish language zip file cannot be downloaded with Firefox - worked in IE. But Firefox(FF V8.0) only delivers a index.php file
If you are using the new Firefox 8 for downloading files, it might store the zip file below as "index.php". In order to get a usable zip file, either rename it to the orginal file name (save as...) or use a different browser for downloading the file. Previous versions of Firefox, including FF7 work normal too.
The problem is a conflict between FF8+ and the SMF 2.0.x Forum software.
The Danish language attachment to this post as mentioned is a few month old.
While using it on VM 2.0 (stable) Joomla 1.5.25 I got problems with outgoing email to the customer on the order confirm email.
Error in mail:
<b>Warning</b>: sprintf() [<a href='function.sprintf'>function.sprintf</a>]: Too few arguments in <b>/home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/dev/libraries/joomla/methods.php</b> on line <b>138</b><br />
The solution for this was by trial an error:
In the language pack (frontend da-DK.com_virtuemart.ini) the translation states:
COM_VIRTUEMART_CART_MAIL_SHOPPER_SUMMARY="du købte og bekræftede em ordre på i alt %1$s hos %2$s."
This I think have to be:
COM_VIRTUEMART_CART_MAIL_SHOPPER_SUMMARY="<p><b>Ordrebekræftigelse</b></p><p>Du købte og bekræftede en ordre hos %1$s</p>"
Took out %2$s To fix the mail sprintf error (worked for me at least)
Also the insertion in same language file for:
VMPAYMENT_STANDARD_PAYMENT_INFO="Betalingform"
VMPAYMENT_STANDARD_ORDER_NUMBER="Ordrenummer"
VMPAYMENT_STANDARD_AMOUNT="Samlet beløb til betaling"
is crucial upon checkout-thank-you screen
Hope this might help someone save some time.
Cheers
New danish da-DK.com_virtuemart.ini for VM 2.0.2 :)
