We have been using paypal and the paypal websites pro (api) with VirtueMart for a long time, however on a new site we upgraded to the newest VirtueMart and there is the payment method PayPal API ... This was pretty stright forward to set up however we are running into a few configuration issues.
We only want to process Credit Cards. We do not want Users redirect off of the site to pay. We have an SSL and want a seems-less transaction.
I have enabled "Direct Payment" and this make the credit card box appear, but how do we remove the first option "PayPal" where it takes you off site and redirects you to the paypal site? -- We do not want to offer this option, only direct CC processing on the site.
The second question, should the Payment method type: be set to Credit Card or
Use Payment Processor.

Request to disable PayPal Express checkout has been added once developers have time hopefully will add it to core.
