Title: Paypal Sandbox error - return to blank page after payment

I've got my customer's site set up with VM 1.1.8 stable.  I'm using Paypal API in sandbox mode.  Every time I click to continue the payment method when in the sandbox, it returns me to a blank page.  I'd like to get this fixed in sandbox mode so I don't have to deal with it when we go live.
