I installed it, and it works with virtuemart showing the rates (almost ideal with ups 1/2). However, I can't figure out how to ship an order, booking it on my UPS account, and generating the UPS shipping label.

HELP, please..................................

The UPSv2 module only does "Rate Shopping". It does not trigger shipment creation, nor label creation. The features are listed here:
