This is possible by customizing the core or using a user class.

i don't understand very well.. it says on the home of virtuemart : "
" If you have virtual Goods like Pictures, Books or Software, you can sell them with VirtueMart! It even works with remote files, you don't need to store the files on the same server. "

is it really possible to sell videos for example
from another server than principal.
in the admin when you enter downloadable product ,
it says no htpp so how does it work please? ???
isn't there a new solution more simple or is it work only with amazon s3.; I'm french ,peraps it can be manage with another host than amazon s3?!

i saw few pb with this solution but posts are litle old, whats news about it?

thanxs for help,

jessica

There's no harm to try. Just put the download url to the File URL field and leave the FileName field empty.
Alternatively, you can set the download root path in the config and just input the filename in the File URL field.
