Title: paypal pro virtuemart 1.1.3 processes order but not payment

we recently upgraded to joomla 1.5.8 and virtuemart 1.1.3. the gateway merchant is paypal pro for accepting credit cards. when making a purchase (credit card) in the store, everything is working fine, and even get a confirmation message, and the followup emails as designed. but for some reason nothing is getting processed through paypal. no record of the order at all within paypal account.

we're not on shared hosting and have our dedicated IP. the site and shop worked before we upgraded of course...

I recently added on to our list of payment methods for paypal pro http://demos.gfx-null.com/paypalpro/


any ideas or suggestions would be helpful. I'm an interface designer more than a backend coder. thanks!! r
