Post by: azamkl on January 09, 2009, 12:11:03 PM
The first attempt in getting the VM to work well with the templates. It's a bit pain stacking and lot's of browsing here and there.. almost got my head explode  :o
Above of all, I thanked Virtuemart for bringing such application that many can benefits from it.

Here is my live site, http://verdurestore.com (http://verdurestore.com)
The site is using Joomla 1.5.8 and Virtuemart 1.1.2

Please give me a comment. If any body want to have some piece of the modded theme, please let me know. Love to help.

Hi azamkl

I went on your site but its down for maintenance, although i could not see it properly i was wondering if the template that you are using is purely for fashion products, whereby when you click on the appropriate category you are given a load of images that represents the products, I have been trying to get a template like that, i have spent a lot of money on different templates but to no avail, if you have the right one do you think that you could allow me to have a copy, I would really appreciate it

regards
Mark

Azamki, really like what you've done with the template on the verdurestore site.

Very professional look that fits well with the type of shop. I think it might be better to remove the little down arrows in the main menu, for Home, Collections and Contact as there is no drop down menu.

I think you could also add a little more style to VM to make the change from Joomla ot Virtuemart to be seemless....

But great job.

change the default shop description text

We have the best tools for do-it-yourselfers. Check us out!

We were established in 1969 in a time when getting good tools was expensive, but the quality was good. Now that only a select few of those authentic tools survive, we have dedicated this store to bringing the experience alive for collectors and master mechanics everywhere.

You can easily find products selecting the category you would like to browse above.

Opsss... i mis look the shop description.. ::) will change it later. And for the main menu to have an arrow icon, yeap, I do feel the same as it does make people confuse it with a drop down that really have a sub menus inside it. I think I'll remove that too.

For the Product details theme, I didn't heavily mod it as the client does like the simplicity of it. Just a bit touch up on the theme code here and there.

Thanks all the comments. You guys rock!  :-*
