Hi,

I've set up a virtuemart for joomla 1.0.x.  [Site = www.darussalamindia.com (http://www.darussalamindia.com)] I get the following error message in paypal after confirming the order in virtuemart:

QuoteThis recipient does not accept payments denominated in USD. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency.

The site's default currency that it displays is the Indian Rupee... and I've also removed other currencies to see if it works.. still the same...

the paypal i.d is fine, because it runs and they are accepting paypal payments in an old site built on zencart...

Go to Edit Store add USD to the list of accepted currencies

I couldnt find where I can add more currencies in the 'Edit Store'. It only gives you the option to select one currency, which I have selected as Indian Rupee. I'm attaching the screen shot. In the Admin->Currency I can add currency.. where I have the Indian Rupee and the US Dollar listed.

Oops i just noticed my version is 1.0.15 and i'm posting here in 1.1.x forum. does that make a difference? I'm updating it now and will try that.

Ok I did that, updated it to 1.11 and added US to the accepted currency.. still the same error.

I have the same problem. I did what was suggested but it did'nt solve the problem.

When I delete this code:
Code Select
"currency_code" => $_SESSION['vendor_currency'],
It's can run, but the amount in USD and not converted to my currency.

Can somebody solve this problem. Thanks.

hi

all i found the solution but you wont like it ,go to edit store and
change the default currency to USD or other currencies accepted by paypal

I got a problem same with such . and I made research in google and VirturMart forum , it seems not just only me encounter such problem .

" This recipient does not accept payments denominated in USD. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency. "

I have use MYR as my currency .
