Title: Error processing credit card

i get an error with every credit card tested

error: 2-2-27-U---The transaction resulted in an AVS mismatch.
The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder.

Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_authorize)



the thing is, i have address input fields disabled for the user registration..
is this a requirement for processing cards?

I am having a similar issue from a potential shopper in Portugal. Although I DO accept and expect address information and it is being input.

He is receiving the same error about the AVS mismatch while trying to use a pre-paid card from www.mbnet.pt

he has used the same card and information successfully elsewhere recently.

I don't want to lose any sales, does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes this is a fraud prevention issue

PrepaOn-line SPAM do not have a address to match

Ncase, it might be too late, but log into your virtuaql terminal, and process the card manually, and adjust the fraud settings to accept the transaction,,
then change them back
