Title: [FIXED] Admin menu display wrong after adding attribute
Post by: jenkinhill on April 26, 2008, 17:15:53 PM
In Simple Layout:

List products then select a product. Use "Add Attribute" from top menu & add an entry. Save - this goes to attribute list and the left menu breaks. Also the menu order changes, seen in Firefox and IE. In future if that product is selected for editing the menu breaks again.

Is it only me seeing this?

PHP Version: 4.4.4  and  5.2.4
Web Server: Apache
VirtueMart 1.1 Final
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.2 and 1.5.3

Title: Bug: Menu html is bugged when viewing products with child products
Post by: Fable on July 09, 2008, 10:58:58 AM
Joomla version: 1.5.3
Virtuemart: 1.1.1 (with Norwegian language)

As you can see from the attached screenshot the menu styling is fubar. This is only visible when viewing a product with child products.

The problem is that the <ul> is closed after "Legg til artikkel" (or "Add article" in english). Which means the remaining menuitems "list produkter" (or "List products") is just independant li tags without an ul tag.

I haven't found the files that control the menu yet so I haven't had the chance to find out how to fix this. I'm sure this is a simple thing though.

If I remember correctly, this problem was fixed in one of the recent nightly builds. (I don't see this problem anymore using recent nightly builds) In case you are using the orginal VM 1.1.1 release, you can download the latest files from: VirtueMart homepage - Developer Portal - Downloads - Nightly Builds - VirtueMart_1.1.0_nightly-manual_Installation_Package.j15.zip
