Title: Error from VirtueMart 1.1.0 RC1
Post by: farmerdon on March 07, 2008, 14:16:59 PM
I'm just posting this for the benefit of others.

This morning my website was loading extremely slowly and when it finally loaded I was getting error messages on the front page of my site where the content usually is. They looked like this:
Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in............

After contacting jmuehleisen he loacated the problem.

Yesterday I installed virtuemart 1.1.0 RC1 (an unstable version)
To fix the problem I had to uninstall all of the virtuemart mambots. I also uninstalled the component and modules to be on the safe side.

The problem is now solved.

I appologise that the information I provided is of no use to you.

I know little or nothing about programming and I posted this message for users that would be on the same level as me.  Hopefully this message may help someone.

Yes, I'd really like to try the stable version.  I'll let you know how I get on.

Regards,

Farmerdon

No need of apology nor do you need to be a programmer to give requested information, like Joomla version (J1.0.x or J1.5 if J1.5 legacy enabled or disabled), server info and etc all requested info are there in the bug reporting template (http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=31709.0) otherwise how are we suppose to fix what we don't know, I am sure users on the same level will agree.
