Title: [SOLVED] Activating before you can purchase

When I have the registration type set to either optional or silent after I have entered my details I get this error;

"Registration Completed!Your account has been created and activation link has been sent to the e-mail address you entered. Note that you must activate the account by clicking on the activation link when you get the e-mail before you can login."

and it won't let me go further, but this doesn't seem right, esepecially because when I had optional set I choose not to register and I still got this message?

And shouldn't it let me go forward and finish my order without havign to go out and activate first? Seems like customers would drop off if they had to go out and active and "optional" or "silet" registration before they could finish an order!

It has nothing to do with VirtueMart you have not configured Joomla.

In Joomla backend go to Global Configuration -> System -> New User Account Activation - NO
