Title: [SOLVED] Failed to move uploaded file to /media directory.

I have tested build 29 dec 07 with Joomla 1.0.13 and this error occurs
Failed to move uploaded file to /media directory.
I also is unable to install virtuemart component to a 1.5 RC4 site

Can you provide more information, please. What sort of file were you trying to upload and were you uploading it using VirtueMart or Joomla's file manager? Does the media directory have 777 permissions?

What error message did Joomla 1.5 give? Was legacy mode turned on? If on a different server to your 1.0.13 installation is php.ini max upload file size set to greater than 2.2Mb? I have mine set to 4Mb

I have tested local server with wamp and no native mode is on
