I try to install beta2 using Jommla 1.5rc3. Got the following Error:

"Unable to write entry"
Warning: file_put_contents() failed to open stream: Permission denied in /www/htdocs/v118901/otm/libraries/joomla/utilities/compat/php50x.php on line 66

Do I have to change joomla file permissions to install 1.1?

I removed a provious virtuemart1.0.13 installation in a bit a troubled process.

Get the latest Joomla1.5 version http://dev.joomla.org/content/view/17/60/#nightly

There have been changes since RC3 in legacy component installation

I think the error came from me trying to install the wrong file mod_virtuemart........ first.
