Title: Another online PC shop - hoping to make a difference
Post by: sycamore68 on November 12, 2007, 20:29:05 PM
We have been experiencing all kinds of problems during the development and after going live and are still in the darkness zone. Any suggestions and help greatly appreciated

I think if you created a baseline grid for your text you will find a big difference in terms of clarity and readability.

Hi,
Certainly is a shop with a difference, the only shop with no stock! Or did I just have bad luck in the 5 products that I picked out......all unavailable. I am sorry but I must agree with the others here, the site looks messy, I think that removing the amount of products in a catagory, on your menu's would make a difference. The images are the next thing, you really need to have bigger images to show off your products. One cannot get an impression of anything from a 90x90 thumbnail! The text also needs working on, perhaps making the teaser a bit shorter, all this mix-mash from capitol letters, numbers, eg....
Amd socket AM2 Dual
core opteron 1212 ,
support core-to-core ,
2

is a mess! Just a suggestion, but try

Amd socket AM2

Instead, it fits on one line and looks a lot tidier. All AM2 boards are dual-core, so this info in the title is unneccersary, and what does "support core to core , 2" mean?

Sorry I couldn't have been more positive, and I wish you success
