I am new to VM. I just setup a new website using mambo 4.6.2. I am adding VM and other mambo components/modules.

Will Virtue Mart be supported in future releases of mambo ?
I noticed that VM's documentation mentioned about mambo 4.6.2. However, all of the screen shots are Joomla's.

I am wondering whether selecting mambo 4.6.2 instead of joomla was a mistake ?

If anyone could point me to any articles / forum threads that show VM's future evolotion, that would be helpful.

VirtueMart 1.0.x series should work with Mambo (however I haven't tried it) the next major release of VirtueMart version 1.1 might not support Mambo I need to ask and get back to you.

I am currently testing the latest version of Virtuemart on Mambo 4.6.2 and it looks good so far. The main problem I came accross with older versions of VM was the import. It all seems to be ok now.

Hi,
the VirtueMart Development Team is still maintaining compatibility to Mambo. this will NOT change with the release of VirtueMart 1.1.
VirtueMart 1.1 is meant to be compatible with Joomla! 1.0, Joomla! 1.5 AND Mambo 4.6.x/4.7.
