For those of you who develop payment modules, is it possible to take/modify a payment module from osCommerce and integrate it with VM.

Specifically, I'm looking at this: Paymentech module from Orbital gateway.

i tried to modify from oscommerce, but seems that oscommerce version is just sending a normal XML while based on the document from Orbital is based on SOAP. So who should i follow?
