Title: www.scripex.com
Post by: peter on February 05, 2007, 22:32:45 PM
I was used to have a simple html site, but recently I have switched to Joomla and incorporated Virtumart with some small customization. The site is more or less bilingual English/Polish. Shop categories and items/item descriptions were imported directly from my own MS Access database (via generated CSV, no manual input).

any comments would be highly appreciated :-)

Hi Peter,
great site!
I would be very interested in how you managed to import from MS Access to your Joomla Based site! I have a client who has an extensive database already made of thousands of products, which he frequently updates, and wants to sync this with a online store system like virtuemart.

Any information you can provide on this would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, your site look nice.

I am interesting with your multi languages.

How can you complete both Polish and English languages ?

They translate very smoothly.

Hi, Congratulations for your Site!
I'm also interested in your multi languages. Which tool are you using? and how did you manage to translate the VirtueMart module?
On the other side, I am also interested to know how you managed to import all the Data. I have tried with MS Excel, but up to now, no success :-(
