Title: Nougat for all in the USA!
Post by: timmah on April 30, 2006, 21:06:48 PM
Okay, this is another site with vm, I actually had a few issues with this because of SEO and SSL  :'( ??? but I guess I'll just have to wait until those bugs are worked out.

It's using J 1.08 and vm 1.04.  The entire template is done in CSS.

Let me know what you think! :)

Hey nice site,

My recommendations

1. Loose background colour, toooooooooo strong, you need softer colour there.
2. change fonts to Verdana, Geneva, the fonts you are using are too sharp. You need softer fonts to sell. Especially when you selling bars of chocloate or snack.
3. In detailed decription you have text in italic, no good get rid of it and again have a softer font there.
4. On contact us bottom border is going over the footer image.
5. On the right below login info.. change the fonts colour to white or something. Black definately doesn't go with the dark blue colour. I have diffiiculty reading it.
6. The small image you are using just before the menu items and products items need reworking. You can see white spaces around them

And thats it. Site is very cool, very innovative. One more thing i would definately try and give more space to the products than design. Top and bottom is very good. But left column needs to be bit narrow so you have more space to sell your products.

At the moment about 75% of space is taken up by design.  And thats it my friend. Good luck with the site.

The floating nougat in the top right occasionally obscures a product name. other than that its very tasty me thinks.
