how you organized your category listing is good as well..
How did you make your background stay? background:fixed?
the thing that i would do to impove the site overall impression is to increase the distance among the menues on the right..
For me it seems scrambled a little bit, plus, i would make it more distinct your main menu and categories, from your VM related menus....so i can orient my self easier..
this is what i think.
