Hi, in order to enable SEF I renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess and activated SEF in the configuration settings.
Some things don't work though ... for example it is not possible to change the order form
from descending to ascending or the other way round. It then throws you back to the front page.

If you can live without the order form SEF will work quite well this way.

site is nice -

design: 7 of 10.
virtue mart design: 5 of 10.

suggestion: make some gradient transition between your images in the header, You see, you have gradient and kinda gentle materials - marble, i think about statues..:)..in any way, in my opinion, not that sharp, ubrupt cutting between your images, but some gradient in that flash header would benefit your site..
