If might be as simple as putting an entry in your CSS file, like:
html>body div.mainBody {
padding-top: 150px;
}
...where 'div.mainBody' is the name you gave to your main content section.
Hmm.... lemme see your code :)
Could be div#top-bottom {}
By using html>body before the CSS tag Internet Explorer should ignore this... presuming the site loks OK in IE :o
You'll need to test and tweak and test, but I hope this helps!
