Title: Ready for J5 / PHP 8.2+?

Hello people,

I am seeing no clear communication over this so I need to ask: is VM ready for the latest Joomla and PHP versions?

The default VM package still bundles the outdated Joomla 3.

Hi Evan,

I am running multiple websites in Joomla 5 with PHP 8.2 without issues.

I guess a J5 VM package would make sense  :D

Yes! It should be communicated clearly and boldly!
An up-to-date J5 package is a must!

Agreed, one shouldn't be starting a new webshop with an unsupported version of Joomla.

Starting on Joomla 4 and migrating to Joomla 5 is still some peoples preferred option.

But Joomla 5 is a stronger choice.
