Hello, a client contacted me because he couldn't register, he got the error Error Save failed with the following error: Please enter your name.
I have checked the forum and Google, also in the remaining documentation and I have read that the problem may be "Displayed Name". I've checked my settings and it's enabled, so I don't know what the problem is. Is there anywhere else besides Virtuemar settings where I need to check?
I have also reviewed my template overrides, if all there is is CSS, invoice and order modification. IF anyone can tell me what file I could have modified to get rid of this error, that would be great, I could check if I have a template override on it.

Revert back to none override VM pages and test again.
It should then enable you to see if it is base or an override issue

I have the same issue. VM 4.2.18 11050 - We need that buyers can Checkout as guests so option "On checkout, ask for registration" in VM Configuration" should be disabled.
But, hen user tries to save inserted data to a payment form or shipment form (same issue on both) it shows error
"Save failed with the following error: Please enter your name."
Have found that this is related to "Name" field with label "Displayed Name" but this field is not shown on any of two forms (Payment info and shipment info).
Does anyone have solution for this?
