How can I create a multilingual webshop like in Joomla?
Where can I switch frontend languages?
What do I need for that? Can I find an explanation about this somewhere?

Enable the languages you want in the Virtuemart Configuration. Afterwards you will find the Dropdown on top of the VM Menu to switch language (You will have to switch it every time, for every product/category/shipping method etc.
After you have selected a language in the dropdown, it will show flags near the fields you can translate.
