Does virtuemart follow the minimum and maximum MariaDB version requirements of Joomla?

I need to update my MariaDB version, because I use a version of many years ago. But I am not sure what the highest version is that Virtuemart (and Joomla) supports.

Anyone?

I'm using version 10.6.X and I don't see any reason to worry
