We are a couple of moderators that usually remove spam within hours. You have no idea of how much spam we remove every day. This was just a little drop in the big spam ocean.

But why not use captcha solutions to increase spam?

A very effective solution is to temporarily block the publication of posts by a new user from the moment they create an account on the forum.
You can also set a time limit between subsequent posts. This effectively blocks automatic post adders.
