Title: BUG: Changing in frontend multi variant product which have also related products
Post by: niosme on September 21, 2023, 15:46:36 PM
We have a multi variant product with e.g. red and green which are child products.

The red is our main product which have related products. When we change to green, instead of going to the green product it brigns in front the related product.

It looks like its the related product have the same class ( .product-container ) inside as the main product and replaces that for a reason instead of getting the green product.

We need to fix this asap. I have a support paid. Please fix it for me or tell us how to solve it or release a new version asap.
Its unnaceptable.

Support? LOL
It is only there to provide you with a virtual sense of security and peace of mind. I don't even go there and report anything, it's a waste of time.

You have to put into a child product a related product.
When you change to child product from the parent product it brings the related of the child product in front and breaks down the view.

I did that, btw your ticket was not 15 days old. and because Hazael wrote this stupid comment. I also answered this to Niosme in the tickets.

All normal problems should be handled in the forum. Only if you think the problem should not appear in in the forum, use the ticket system. For example if you have a problem with the technic of the extension store. For example there was a problem to add additional domains if not registered buying the product. Or if you have a feature request. Or if you found a security problem. Or similar. Then write a ticket. You can also write a ticket if you see no answer for 2 days in the forum. Add the forum link to the ticket and I am happy.

I also wrote about that in the news already. When I started the membership the new way, .... I underestimated this problem. Prior member did not use the membership for VM bugs this way. Or soo rare, that I had one ticket per bug.
Now I often get a lot tickets for the same bug, got better now. Just imagine, if just 1% of users write a ticket for the same problem, I am answering tickets for hours, leading parallel discusssions. Dont tell me about "canned answers" does not work for me.

In a forum thread we can combine our forces.
