Hi,
I recently update to J4.3.0 and VM 4.0.12 10777 (PHP 8.0.27)
After the update the category filter in the search module does not work.
It simply ignores the category and the result shows any product matching the criteria.
I checked the module and the catagory filter is enabled.
Any suggestion?
Update to VirtueMart to 4.0.18. I think that will resolve the issue.
Thank you Jumbo! for your answer.
I hope they will include the fix in a future public release.

I updated a site to VM 4.0.22 10864 but the category filter continues to ingnore any selection.
Did someone have the same problem?
Any suggestion?

I had the same problem and i still can't fix it. Did you fix this problem yet?
I swear it was working 2 weeks ago, but with the latest VM update (4.4.1 11099), it's still not possible to search only 1 category and have the "results" for only that 1 category.
Has anybody come up with a solution? We are preparing for a soft launch and users will be very confused when they click on "Next" or any of the numbers for pages and find that their results then include 100% of all categories.
Max tells me this has been going on for quite some time...like forever. Maybe there is something in the amount of products, but I've been working on this project for a year and this is the first time I have found that the page numbers and "Next" or "End" or "Start", when clicked, then all categories and not only the 1 category I was searching are included in the search results.
