Title: insert one custom field into multiple products

Is there a way to insert one custom field into multiple products with one click? Maybe even using mysql?

     Images (with upload)
     Product Categories
     Maker
     Related Product
     Related categories
     Price, discount and taxes
     Custom fields. (Some plugins are compatible)
     Weights and dimensions.
     Status and Featured Product
     Page layout, ...

why not code it into the product page template?
