Hi Support
This has to do with the following versions of Virtuemart
- 3.8.8 10472
- 4.0.4 10688

What we have noticed is that when you edit a product in the old version, 3.8.8, it has the options as seen in the screenshot vm-404-priceedit-detailview.png
If you look at the second screenshot of version 4.0.4, the option to override the price in the same way does not exisit.

Can you let us know if this is by design, or does this mean an upgrade will solve this.

set "Show expert pricing options" to yes in VM config->pricing

4.0.4 10688 is totally out of date

use https://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/1359/com_virtuemart.4.0.12.10777_package_or_extract.zip

Thank you for the quick reply.
We are aware of the Upgrade issue, in fact we had issues with 4.05-4.0.8, hence why we did not update.

4.0.13 solves all issues reported apart from the ?results,1-0 bug ( solved on here .. search ) and some minor admin bugs
