Title: Front end product edit reverts back to original upon save

Joomla! 3.10.11
VirtueMart 4.0.6 10690
PHP Version 7.4.32
My client just informed me that when she edits her products, upon saving, the product reverts back to what it was originally. She has always used the front-end edit. The backend works fine, but she wants to be able to use the front end. I cannot find any reason for this. Any ideas where I could check?

Maybe test with a more recent pre-release/beta version on a backup of the live site in case the issue has already been fixed?

http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/1336/com_virtuemart.4.0.7.10720_package_or_extract.zip  was released for testing two days ago.
