my idea is like a custom field for the product so that it can be easily adjusted for each product. and there would only be a text link on the product page and the size chart would open in a pop up window.

My customfield plugin https://shop.st42.fr/en/products/shortcodes.htm can display images from a folder, with some script/css you can show this in a popup(you can create template overrides for each shortcodes)
Hi, I solved it using the custom field editor and inserted my html code of the size table.
