I´m just asking me if i need this extension because of the new EU Tax rules where customers (B2C) have to pay the tax of their own country:
https://extensions.virtuemart.net/all-tutorials/10-calculation-rules/30-virtuemart-moss
I think i can setup tax rules for different countries with standard VM configuration in Virtuemart/Products/Taxes & Calculation rules whre I can set different Taxes for the EU Countries.
When shopper is logged in with his account the tax rule for his country should be taken.
What is the different between Standard VM tax rules configuration and the MOSS Extension ?
At last the DELIVERY ADDRESS ist relevant - not the INVOICE ADDRESS !
QuoteWhat is the different between Standard VM tax rules configuration and the MOSS Extension ?
assigns the tax automatically based on ip geo detection...
I think this can be over ridden by the delivery address
If lostmail is right, this will not be optimal if the buyer sends to a different country than he has his browser located.
