I have a problem creating a sitemap using Virtuemart 2+ SiteMap
I also use sh404sef plugin in order to all products URLs are at the root.
The sitemap component creates three different links for the products.
https://www.mysite.gr/product-category.html/product-name-detail
https://www.mysite.gr/product-category/product-subcategory/product-name-detail.html
https://www.mysite.gr/product-name-detail.html
The first two urls are not valid. The only valid is the third one.
How is it possible to prevent from creating the invalid URLs?
Anyone with the same problem?

I do not support sh404sef, my code logic cannot be handel by sh404 correctly in some case.

Confirm Patrick, if we don't need sef app, we don't use definitelly.
Only if old eshop (J15,J25) used SEF app, then in J3 we use to.
But every sef app before create sef URL or if check URL if exist, then look inside DB - is very very slow (don't help use cache, because using cache is problematic).
sef404 can kill a website, it's why i dont use it anymore and do not provide support for it.
So what plugin do you recommend for sef urls.
We need all products structure URLs from the root folder, schema tags, rel next prev for paginated pages and canonical uls.

Finally I installed the JSitemap. Seams to be the perfect solution if you use sh404sef.
The team has to do some more configuration but the result until now is almost what we need!

My tool is only done to be fast but not compatbile wit SEF404 or other sef plugins .
It can generate more then 100 000 Urls(i do not tested more)
Si if you do not use Joomla core SEF, i do not provide help for my sitemap component
