Title: PayPal Log Problems

Hi,
i use Joomla 3.9.4. VM 3.2.14 PayPal plugin 3.2.14
Sometimes I get an error mail from virtuemart saying to look in paypal.1.log.php
I can't find this file so i can't get error details. On PayPal we have no problem with that payment but the order in VM is still pending. The customer doesn't get any mail
Where should the paypal log file be?

normally these days in administrator/logs/ but in any case wherever your Joomla log folder is specified

if still pending then the IPN failed .. loads of discussion on here about adding new ips in the allowed paypal ip range

I suspected it, but I'd like to know why i don't have logs .... other components writes their logs in that folder  ???

Could someone help me to debug this problem? No PayPal Logs error.
- the folder is /logs
- virtuemart writes in that folder the files 'com_virtuemart.log' and 'pay_in_store.0.log' so I think it's not a permissions problem

Your VM version is nearly 2 years old. Suggest you test the most recent released version of VirtueMart (3.6.10) with its updated PayPal plugin   http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/1242/com_virtuemart.3.6.10.10211_package_or_extract.zip

Test on a copy of the live site first, of course.
