Title: how to show items in category view? It just shows a search-page [solved]

This used to work fine, but since some update the category page just shows a search box.

I created a menu-item to category, selected the category, but it does not display the items at all. In the VM config "Show products of the selected category" is yes to 1 per row. In the menu-item config I also tried 'yes', but nothing displays.

VirtueMart 3.4.2

you updated to VirtueMart 3.4.2?

tried with the stock template?

yes I updated, yes default orange template.

My bad. Products where not assigned to a category anymore. Don't know how that happened.
