Hello,

Is it possible to include text fields and text areas in a product, so that the customer can type in information?

Use custom field, text plugin.

Tick cart attribute Yes

Choose position (depends on Your template, ontop, addtocart, onbot etc)

Or my plugin https://shop.st42.fr/en/products/shortcodes.htm can display textarea in last release.
