Hi

when the customer gets to the cart on our site under shipping it says 'We are sorry, no shipment method matches the characteristics of your order.' even if the customer has not yet entered an address.

we only ship to specific locations, so I cannot remove this message altogether in case a customer requests to have shipped to an area we don't cover, but ideally, I would like the initial message say something like 'Please enter your shipping address to view shipping options'

then if an address is entered which we ship to the message is replaced byt the shipping options (as it is now) BUT if they enter an address we dont ship to theen they would get the 'We are sorry, no shipment method matches the characteristics of your order.' meassage

j 3.9.0 vm 3.4.2

any help would be greatly appreciated

Go to Joomla extension/language(s) tools and add a new override for backend. When addaing this new language string You can search för language keys and language strings. Override the 'We are sorry, no shipment method matches the characteristics of your order.' and set Your own text. Tick use at both front and backend. Save string and done.
